OC has its first and currently ONLY Marco’s Pizza that just opened up!
THE MOOD:
Marco’s only offers delivery and carry out. So, expect the entrance of the place to serve that purpose. There is a bench for customers to be able to sit at while they wait for their food and a restroom to the left. Everything else behind the counter is where the pizza magic happens. Going in, you notice everything just feels bright, clean, and you can really get to see how the pizzas and food are being prepped. The owner JD is usually in the front greeting customers and he is super friendly and personable, which makes the pizza experience that much better.
THE FOOD:
I’ve never had Marco’s Pizza before until last week and now I’m a fan. Their dough is made fresh daily and I can honestly tell the difference. What we got:
-Pepperoni Magnifico Pizza (they are really generous with their pepperoni – every bite is full of the classic and cupped pepperoni)
-Bone In Buffalo Wings (I mean, who doesn’t love bone in buffalo wings?)
-Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizzoli (this one was my favorite after the pizza. Super creamy, carbs, cheesey, and with the ranch? *chef’s kiss*
-Cinnasquares (it almost has a donut consistency. You get to drizzle the icing on yourself so this was fun to eat.)
There are lots of options on the menu, so it seems like there can be something for everyone. Aside from the pizzas, there are also pizza bowls, pizzolis, subs, salads, sides (wings, breadsticks, cheezybread, and desserts (cinnasquares, chocolate cinnasquares, and double chocolate brownie).
THE ‘TUDE:
Everyone from the moment we entered was super friendly and welcoming and it was super refreshing to see.
OVERALL:
From the fast and friendly service to their yummy pizza and menu options, I’ll definitely be back!
Now…why did I decide writing this review at midnight was a good idea? Thinking about their pizza again is making me hungry!
